AWANA
Our childrens program - AWANA, is great for children ranging froma age 2 through Eighth Grade.
AWANA is a program in which children have the opportunity to not only hear about God and His Word, but also to memorize His Word.
there are different clubs for each age group. Each club has handbooks that children use and memorize scripture as well as completing projects. As they complete each section in the handbook the will recieve an award. Our ultimate goal is for the children to develope a deeper understanding of God and His Word as well as a relationship with Him.
there is also a time for a group lesson where the older children go and hear a bible lesson from one of the leaders, a Missionary, or a visiting Pastor.
another aspect of the AWANA program is game time. This time comes after all the lessons and memorization. This time teaches them how to play with others as well as how it's not important who wins or loses, but that you have fun.
